The Bazaar Even the most proficient of linguists would have trouble naming all the tongues spoken here—just as even the stingiest of buyers would have difficulty not purchasing something here. Many inhabitants of Atlantis go here daily, either to buy food and other necessities or simply to soak up the atmosphere of excitement and exoticism. Tempting perfumes and other delights might tempt you to examine the goods of far-off lands, but beware: these merchants are canny, and will do almost anything for a profit. |

The Market Well Not an actual well but more a pool fed by cisterns, the Well is located on the very outskirts of the bazaar, where it serves as a congregation point for people of all types who have come to draw water for washing, cooking, or even simply for a cool drink in the heat of the afternoon. Many people arrange to meet at this clearly-defined landmark, but at noon the area is so crowded it can be difficult to find anyone you’re looking for. |

The Bridge of Atlantis Spanning the Sun Canal, the Bridge of Atlantis is famous as an engineering feat: impossibly wide and sturdy, the Bridge leads to the legendary Sun Gate—the only entrance to the inner city from the Outer Rim. Constructed of white stone, the Bridge still gleams with the same splendor that it had upon creation. By day it is constantly bustling with visitors hoping to be admitted into the city (a rare occurrence, as only authorized personnel may move freely in and out) and people scurrying back and forth or lingering at the railing. |
